As the first major research achievement by Hurun Group in the legal services sector, the Guide focuses on the growing importance of intellectual property as a key driver of corporate competitiveness. It seeks to answer two core questions: What changes are currently taking place in the IP legal services market? What kind of IP lawyers are companies looking for?To address these questions from the perspective of real corporate needs, the research team conducted an in-depth study of over 350 outstanding IP lawyers, reviewed 1,126 typical project case studies, and gathered feedback from more than 500 corporate clients. This was complemented by official data from the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Supreme People’s Court, resulting in a systematic industry research report.
