Jiao He

Jiao is a practicing patent attorney and patent litigator, with an IP practice spanning over 10 years. She has extensive experience in patent drafting, prosecution, invalidation, litigation, search and analysis.

Her technical expertise includes mechanics, automobile and industrial design. Besides dealing with the patent applications and responding to the office actions, Jiao has been providing patent-related legal services to numbers of famous international and domestic companies, and she has been involved in many patent invalidation and litigation cases in recent years.

Jiao is a mechanical and industrial design expert and leads the China mechanical and design team.

Work Highlights

• Regularly monitor competitors' patents for an internationally famous beverage company, covering product equipment, product process, and product packaging. Communicate with the clients in a timely manner regarding target patents after client’s screening, and provide consulting services on patent and legal aspects. We have provided the client with many constructive opinions on patent warning, patent mining, and patent portfolio.
• Provide infringement analysis and enforcement service for an internationally famous gaming console company. We collected information on multiple infringing products through market research, and compared each infringing product with client’s products one by one, and issued infringement analysis reports. By incorporating the analysis of the design freedom, the analysis conclusions are made more objective. Further measures such as filing invalidation requests for the target patent and conducting administrative investigations for industry and commerce have effectively cracked down on the infringing party and provided deterrence to other infringers.
• Provide patent consultation and enforcement services for a well-known European fitness company. This project covers multiple aspects of enforcement actions, including infringement analysis, patent stability analysis, notarized purchase, investigation of sales scale, as well as issuing legal letters to request invalidation of the target company's patent and successfully invalidate it, effectively cracking down on infringers and clearing obstacles for clients to expand their products into the Chinese market.
