Meryl has nearly 20 years’ experience in the field of intellectual property, with a strong focus on trademark administrative litigation and brand protection matters. She has represented many internationally renowned clients across a wide range of industries such as technology, fashion and luxury, sports and entertainment, education, home goods, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Meryl is highly experienced in handling diverse IP disputes, including trademark administrative litigation, trademark infringement, unfair competition, copyright, and design patent matters. As the head of the administrative litigation team, she and her team have managed over 3,000 cases in the past decade.

With deep litigation experience and an innovative legal mindset, Meryl has led numerous high-profile and complex cases involving the recognition of well-known trademarks, prior rights, and cross-class protection. Many of these cases have been recognized as ‘Model IP Cases’ by the Supreme People’s Court, the Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC), Zhejiang courts, and other authoritative institutions.
